A+ Snoopy

We had to have an electrician come in to wire in a new outlet for the garbage disposal that will be going in next week.  The guys that came out did a great job, even checking out my ceiling fan and light in my room that was not doing right and taping up the dryer vent that had come loose under the house.  Very professional guys, I would highly recommend them to anyone in Clay County, FL and the surrounding area,  Curtis Duvall Electric.  Mr. Duvall saw some vinyl work I had done on my fiance's laptop and on the kids' laptop and asked if I could do other stuff like that too.  He wanted an image of Snoopy doing the happy dance for his wife who is a school teacher.  I found the image online and added a few things to it.  It was by far the easiest one I have done.
I think it turned out great and he was happy with it.  Hope she likes it too!

Happy Birthday, Love!!

Today is my fiance's birthday.  He is my best friend, the love of my life, he puts up with all my nuttiness, he loves and encourages me, and he is an amazing Daddy to our kids.  I love him more and more every day.  I don't know what I would do without him.

Since he loves Game of Thrones and D&D, I thought a dragon card would be perfect.  I used the Rhaegal file from the GOT Blog Hop by SVG Cutting Files and Jaded Blossom to make a dragon shaped card.

Purse Gift Card Holder

I made this gift card holder I found in the Silhouette store.  I used digital paper from Harper Finch.  She has lots of awesome digital sets and tons of freebies.  I used a snowflake embellishment from my stash to finish it off.

Fleas Navidad

I made a Pug Christmas card to enter in a challenge at SVG Cutting Files.  I will also enter at Silhouette Challenges #20.  I love SVG Cutting files, Anne comes up with the cutest stuff, like the Christmas Pug file.  I also printed some digital paper from Harper Finch.  She has some very cute sets too!  I cut it out with my Silhouette Cameo.I am slowly started to get my creative mojo back I think.  Hoping to start posting more again soon!  Happy Holidays!!

Gift tags

I love making my own gift tags.  I haven't been feeling very creative lately, so I was glad to finally get in the mood to create something.  There are simple, but I love them.  The graphics are from Stinkin Cute Paper Piecings in the Silhouette design store.  The tag shapes were also from the Silhouette design store.

Happy Holidays!!

Charlie the Elf Helped Decorate the Tree

Sometimes our little Elf just sits and watches the craziness at our house, sometimes he likes to add to it.  Once he got stuck in the K- cup carousel and spent the next day there too.  This morning we got up and found he has helped decorate the tree.

Happy Holidays!!

My 2nd card for World Card Making Day

I really enjoyed getting to make a few cards yesterday.  Mum and I are going to tackle cleaning out the shed, so no crafting today.  Toes crossed we make it back out!  I used the Santa Claus set from My Scrap Chick to make a cute Christmas card.  Now I just hope to remember to mail out my Christmas cards this year.  Really bad to forget to mail them.

World Card Making Day

Since today is World Card Making Day, I was very happy to take some time out to make a few more Christmas cards.  I used Meowy Christmas from Treasure Box Designs for this one.  I used glossy accents on the kitty's nose, berries on the scarf and the lights.  So much fun to put this one together!

Bella's 2nd Birthday

Happy 2nd Birthday Bella!  Even though she is having a Cat themed party, I had to make her a monkey birthday card!  I put the little monkey on an action wobble, cause wobbles are fun.

A Card For Kaydee

My daughter Maggie is going to a sleepover birthday party for her friend Kaydee Friday.  Kaydee loves ponies!  So, of course I made a pony card for her big day.  I used Horse on the Farm by Stinkin Cute Paper Piecings, Party Hat by Silhouette, and Colorful Birthday Phrases by American Crafts.  I popped up the horse on foam squares.  Hope she likes her card and I am sure she will love her present!

A Stair Step Card

Another Christmas card!

I love Little Scraps of Heaven Designs!  They are just so cute!  I used the floppy reindeer for this card.  I added glossy accents to the bells and nose.  I didn't get the air bubbles out though on the bells.  I still love this card!  It was so much fun to make.

Hawaiian Upside Down Cake

Last Sunday, my Mum made a very yummy cake.  It started off as a pineapple upside down cake, but she got creative.  It ended up having pineapple, maraschino cherries, coconut, and mandarin oranges too.  It was so good, I was inspired to finally get to work on a recipe scrapbook that I have wanted to do for a while now and just hadn't started.  The goal is to get all our family favorites in a special place that the kids will be able to enjoy too.  And to help cut down on those, "How did we do that last time?", when we get creative with food.  We decided Hawaiian Upside Down Cake was alot easier than Pineapple, Maraschino Cherries, Coconut, and Mandarin Oranges Upside Down Cake, hence the name.  I used the Tiki and Hula girl images from the Silhouette store.

Merry Christmas in July!

I have been trying to get a jump on making Christmas cards this year.  I hope to even remember to mail them out this year too.  I have been known to even have stamps on them and still forget to mail them.  I used the Bobble Buddy Moose from Treasure Box Designs to make this one.  I created the sentiment in my Silhouette design studio.

My 7 yo daughter, Maggie, also wanted to make a card.  She used Bobble Buddy Reindeer, also from Treasure Box Designs on her card.  She had to have some help, but not much.  She popped the front legs and head up on foam dots.  She loves to craft, just like her Momma!  And I love to create with my kids!

Bazinga!

Yesterday was my step dad's birthday.  One of his favorite T.V. shows is The Big Bang Theory.  A while back SVG Cutting files and Jaded Blossom did an awesome blog hop and offered free files of TBBT  cast.  Jaded Blossom also offers a stamp set with the BaZnGa elements, but I didn't have time to order it when I needed the card.  So I created the background in Silhouette Design Studio.  I love their blog hops, they have amazing design teams that are so inspiring!  Here is the card I made my dad Tony.   Here is the inspiration for it.

Doctor Who sneakers

Dylan is a huge Doctor Who fan!  So when we saw the blue laces of these shoes, we knew exactly what they needed, a T.A.R.D.I.S.  For anyone who has never seen the show, the Doctor travels through space and time in the T.A.R.D.I.S., which stands for Time and Relative Dimension in Space.

Wreck It Ralph Math Hero Game

My son Luke was having trouble learning rounding at school (3rd grade).  My youngest 2 are in public school for now, while the older two are home-schooled.  To help Luke practice rounding in a fun way, I came up with a game.  It took most of the day to come up with the idea and then make the game, but it worked!  He mastered rounding and then I gave the game to his classroom.  The object of the game is to move to each space to get to the top.  In order to move to the next space, you have to spin the spinner, draw 3 numbers from the brick pile and solve the problem.

Pick your Wreck It Ralph Hero
Spin to see where to round to- tens or hundreds
Pick 3 bricks from Ralph's dump.  They have numbers on the back.

Place your numbers on either the tens or hundreds side depending on what you spun.  The floor number is where you are rounding to- either the tens or the hundreds place.  The star number is the helper number that tells you whether to round up or "stay on your floor".

The number line reminder.  If the star number is 0-4 you stay on your floor.  If it is 5-9, go up one floor.

Make it to the top to be a Math Hero!

More Pirate Monkeys

Here are a few pics from Bella's Pirate Monkey 1st Birthday party.  I made 2 banners, one of rosettes and a HB skull and crossbones, cupcake wrappers and toppers, personalized pirate coins, treasure chests, menu cards, stickers and tattoos.  Plus made the birthday girl's onesie (heat transfer vinyl) and tutu.  So much fun to put together!
